Terms of Service

Last updated October 12, 2026

Please read these Terms of Service before using Stackd Excel. Stackd Excel is a work marketplace from Stackd Studios AI. These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Hicks Virtual Solutions LLC, which operates Stackd Excel and Stackd Studios AI.

01

Acceptance of terms

By using this website or any Stackd Excel service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These Terms apply to all visitors, workers, businesses, and others who use the site.

02

What Stackd Excel is

Stackd Excel connects people looking for paid work with businesses that need work done: tasks, projects, shifts and jobs. Workers move up through levels by passing skill checks and finishing work. Businesses can post work themselves or ask Stackd to manage it.

Stackd Excel is not open to the public yet. For now the site runs a waitlist. The listings, pay rates and people shown on the site are example content that shows the kind of work to come. Once Stackd Excel is live, real listings will replace them.

Joining the waitlist, submitting a form, or sending a message does not create a contract and does not guarantee access, work, or a particular launch date.

03

Accounts

When accounts open, you must give accurate information and keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.

04

Workers

Workers never pay to join, browse, apply, or qualify. Skill checks are free. Passing a check or reaching a level does not guarantee any particular work.

Workers agree to do accurate, honest work and to follow the instructions on a listing. Work that is made up, copied, or submitted in bad faith may be rejected, and repeated violations can lead to removal.

05

Businesses

Businesses agree to post accurate, legitimate listings and to pay for approved work. Listings are reviewed by Stackd before they go live, and we may decline or remove any listing.

Fees for businesses are shown clearly before a listing is posted. Where Stackd is not shown as taking a fee on a particular kind of work, none applies. We do not take a cut of W-2 wages.

06

Payment

Payment terms for each listing are shown on the listing and confirmed before work starts. All prices are in US dollars. We may update pricing and fees going forward, and changes do not affect work that has already been accepted.

07

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site. That includes posting false or illegal content, harassing others, trying to get around skill checks, scraping the site, attempting to access accounts or data that are not yours, or interfering with how the site works.

08

Intellectual property

The Stackd Excel and Stackd Studios AI names, logos, design, text, and code are the property of Hicks Virtual Solutions LLC and are protected by law. You may not copy or reuse them without written permission.

Ownership of finished work is set by the listing or agreement it was done under. Unless a listing says otherwise, work product belongs to the business that paid for it once it is paid in full.

09

Disclaimers

The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” While we review listings, we do not guarantee that any listing, worker, or business will meet your expectations, and we are not a party to agreements that workers and businesses make with each other outside Stackd Excel.

10

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Stackd Excel, Stackd Studios AI, and Hicks Virtual Solutions LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or services.

Our total liability for any claim related to these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 90 days before the claim.

11

Termination

We may suspend or end access to the site for anyone who breaks these Terms. You can stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your information.

12

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes will first be handled through good-faith negotiation. If that does not resolve them, they will go to binding arbitration in Virginia.

13

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes are posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
