This policy explains the cookies and browser storage used by Stackd Excel, a Stackd Studios AI product operated by Hicks Virtual Solutions LLC. We keep this to what the site needs. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
What we use
Essential, for signing in: when a Stackd team member signs in, we set cookies that keep the person signed in and remember which part of the site they are using. Our sign-in provider (Supabase) sets its own cookies for the same purpose. The site cannot sign anyone in without them. Visitors who are not signed in do not get these cookies.
Preference, for the display theme: when you switch between dark and light mode, your choice is saved in your browser. On the public site it lasts for your browser session. Inside the signed-in portal it is remembered on that device.
Notice acknowledgement: when you dismiss the cookie notice, we save that on your device for 180 days so we do not ask again. This is only an acknowledgement. It does not opt you into anything.
What we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share cookie data for advertising. If we add analytics later, we will update this page first and describe what it collects.
Third parties
If a Stackd team member chooses Sign in with Google, Google may set its own cookies during sign-in under its own policies. Our hosting provider, Vercel, may log basic request data for security and performance.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and stored data in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, signing in will not work. You can reopen the cookie notice any time with the “Cookie notice” button at the bottom of the page.
